Culture & customs

People are back from their villages. The buses are full, shops open again and the city is loud. Asan has been a market crossroads since the old trade route to Tibet.

From now on you’ll see akash deep, lamps hung high on bamboo poles all through Kartik to guide the souls of ancestors.
